Description

This Valentine Snack Board is a fun and easy party food idea filled with heart-shaped mini pizzas, fresh strawberries, crisp vegetables, and sweet-savory dips. It is perfect for Valentine’s Day snacks, cute appetizer ideas, kids’ party food, date-night bites, easy snack boards, and festive food ideas when you want something colorful, simple, and shareable.

Ingredients

1 pound refrigerated pizza dough

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup mini pepperoni or small heart-shaped pepperoni pieces

1 cup fresh strawberries

1 cup sliced bell peppers

1 cup carrot sticks

1/2 cup chocolate dip

1/2 cup marinara or pizza dipping sauce

1 cup crackers or breadsticks

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small heart shapes.

3. Place the dough hearts on the prepared baking sheet.

4. Spread a small amount of pizza sauce over each heart, leaving a thin border around the edges.

5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce and add mini pepperoni or small heart toppings.

6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden and the cheese is melted.

7. Let the mini pizzas cool for a few minutes while you prepare the board.

8. Wash and dry the strawberries, then slice the bell peppers and prepare the carrot sticks.

9. Add chocolate dip and marinara dip to small bowls and place them on a serving board.

10. Arrange the warm heart pizzas around the bowls, then fill the spaces with strawberries, vegetables, crackers, breadsticks, and fresh herbs.

11. Serve right away while the pizzas are warm and the fresh snacks are crisp.

Notes

Do not overload the mini pizzas with sauce or toppings, because too much moisture can make the dough soft and hide the heart shape after baking.
