Description

Mint Aero Brownies are rich, fudgy, and packed with cool mint chocolate flavor in every bite. This easy dessert recipe is perfect for bake sales, holiday trays, party food ideas, quick chocolate cravings, and family dessert nights when you want a simple brownie recipe that looks impressive but stays wonderfully easy to make.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

8 ounces dark or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

4 Mint Aero chocolate bars, broken into pieces

1/2 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Melt the butter and chopped chocolate together until smooth, then let it cool slightly.

3. Whisk the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until thick and glossy.

4. Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until fully combined.

5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold gently until no dry streaks remain.

6. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.

7. Arrange the Mint Aero pieces evenly over the batter, keeping them slightly away from the edges.

8. Spoon the remaining brownie batter over the Mint Aero layer and gently smooth the top.

9. Sprinkle chocolate chips or chunks over the top.

10. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center still has moist crumbs.

11. Cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing into squares.

Notes

Do not overbake the brownies. Pull them from the oven when the center still has moist crumbs so they stay fudgy after cooling.
