It is a beautiful easy recipe for quick breakfast drinks, afternoon coffee breaks, brunch ideas, summer drinks, homemade latte recipes, and pretty food ideas when you want something cool, floral, and lightly spiced.
Ingredients
1 cup milk
2 shots espresso
1 tablespoon rose syrup
1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon honey or simple syrup
1 cup ice
1 teaspoon dried rose petals
Instructions
1. Brew the espresso and let it cool for a few minutes.
2. Stir the espresso with rose syrup, ground cardamom, vanilla extract, and honey or simple syrup until smooth.
3. Fill a tall glass with ice.
4. Pour the milk over the ice.
5. Slowly pour the cardamom rose espresso mixture over the milk.
6. Stir gently, garnish with dried rose petals, and serve immediately.
Notes
Stir the cardamom into the warm espresso before adding it to the iced milk, because adding dry cardamom directly over ice can make it clump and settle too quickly.
