Description

This Hot Honey Salmon is a quick dinner, easy recipe, and flavorful seafood meal that brings sweet heat, juicy salmon, garlic, lemon, and a glossy sticky glaze together in one simple dish. It is perfect for weeknight dinner ideas, healthy dinner ideas, family food ideas, and a fast protein-packed meal that feels special without taking much time.

Ingredients

2 pounds salmon fillets

1/3 cup honey

2 tablespoons hot sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 lemon, sliced for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Pat the salmon fillets dry, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.

3. Season the salmon with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

4. In a small bowl, stir together honey, hot sauce, garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.

5. Brush the hot honey glaze generously over the salmon, saving a little for the end.

6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the salmon is almost cooked through and flakes easily.

7. Brush the remaining glaze over the salmon, then broil for 1 to 2 minutes until glossy and lightly caramelized.

8. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes, then garnish with parsley and lemon slices before serving.

Notes

Watch the salmon closely while broiling because the honey glaze can caramelize quickly and may burn if left under high heat too long.
