  • Author: Livia Scott
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Description

Crack Chicken Sliders are warm, cheesy, creamy pull-apart sandwiches packed with shredded chicken, ranch seasoning, bacon, cheddar, and buttery soft rolls. This easy recipe is perfect for party food, game day appetizers, quick dinner ideas, family meals, potluck food, and simple comfort food ideas when you need something hearty and crowd-friendly.

Ingredients

12 slider rolls

3 cups cooked shredded chicken

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1/4 cup sliced green onions

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom sheets intact. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.

3. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.

4. Stir in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions until evenly combined.

5. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.

6. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling and press gently.

7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.

8. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.

9. Remove the foil and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes, until the tops are golden and the filling is hot and melty.

10. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

Do not overfill the sliders with a loose or watery chicken mixture. The filling should be creamy and spreadable, but thick enough to stay inside the rolls while baking.
