Description

Chocolate Pretzel Trees are a fun, festive, no-bake Christmas dessert that brings together crunchy pretzels, smooth chocolate, colorful drizzle, and sparkling sprinkles in one easy recipe. These sweet and salty holiday treats are perfect for Christmas party food ideas, quick dessert trays, edible gifts, kid-friendly baking projects, and easy holiday snack ideas when you want something cute without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

12 mini pretzel twists

1 1/2 cups chocolate melting wafers

1/2 cup white chocolate melting wafers or colored candy melts

12 star sprinkles or small star candies

2 tablespoons holiday sprinkles

1 tablespoon edible gold sugar or sanding sugar

1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening, optional

Instructions

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Arrange the mini pretzel twists into small Christmas tree shapes on the parchment.

3. Melt the chocolate wafers in short microwave intervals, stirring until smooth.

4. Spoon or drizzle the melted chocolate over the pretzel trees so the pieces connect.

5. Melt the white chocolate or colored candy melts until smooth.

6. Drizzle the melted candy back and forth across each tree like garland.

7. Add a star sprinkle to the top of each tree.

8. Decorate with holiday sprinkles and edible gold sugar while the chocolate is still soft.

9. Chill the tray until the chocolate is firm.

10. Gently lift the Chocolate Pretzel Trees from the parchment and serve.

Notes

Do not move the pretzel trees before the chocolate is fully set, or they may break apart. Chill them until firm, then lift them gently from the parchment.
