Ingredients
2 cups angel food cake, cubed
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream
21 oz cherry pie filling
Instructions
1. Slice the angel food cake into 1-inch cubes and place half into a 9×13-inch dish.
2. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
5. Spread half the cream mixture over the cake layer, then repeat with the remaining cake and cream.
6. Top with cherry pie filling, spreading evenly.
7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
