Ingredients

1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank)

8 oz fresh mozzarella balls

1 cup cherry tomatoes

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp balsamic glaze


Instructions

1. Pat steak dry and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side until medium rare. Let rest for 5–10 minutes.

3. In the same pan or oven, roast cherry tomatoes with a drizzle of olive oil and pinch of salt until blistered and soft.

4. Slice steak against the grain and arrange on a serving board or platter.

5. Top with mozzarella balls and roasted tomatoes.

6. Tear fresh basil and sprinkle over the top.

7. Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.
