Ingredients
1 pound breakfast sausage
8 large eggs
2 cups whole milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound breakfast sausage until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
3. Spread 3 cups thawed hash browns evenly into the prepared baking dish.
4. Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the hash browns.
5. In a bowl, whisk together 8 large eggs, 2 cups whole milk, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper until smooth.
6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and hash brown layers.
7. Sprinkle 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese and 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
