This easy recipe is no-bake, ideal for parties, edible gifts, or when you’re craving something special. Perfect for chocolate lovers, holiday dessert trays, and anyone hunting for elegant food ideas, easy recipes, quick treats, or snackable sweets.

Ingredients

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

1/3 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

12 soft caramels

2 tablespoons caramel sauce (for drizzling)

1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. In a heatproof bowl, combine chocolate and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between until smooth. Stir in butter until fully melted and glossy.

2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until firm enough to scoop.

3. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of chocolate, flatten slightly, and press a soft caramel into the center. Roll into a ball and place on a lined tray.

4. (Optional) Melt additional chocolate and dip each truffle for a double coating. Let them chill in the fridge to set.

5. Drizzle caramel sauce on each truffle and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor and texture.

Let truffles sit at room temp 10 minutes before serving for ideal creaminess.

Freeze extras in an airtight container separated by parchment for up to 1 month.
