Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough

4 oz mozzarella cheese, cubed

3 tbsp unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

0.5 tsp salt


Instructions

1. Lightly flour a surface and divide the pizza dough into 12–14 equal pieces.

2. Flatten each piece of dough and insert a cube of mozzarella in the center.

3. Seal and roll each one into a smooth dough ball.

4. Drizzle olive oil in a 10-inch cast iron skillet and coat the bottom and sides.

5. Arrange the dough balls in the skillet in a ring or spiral pattern.

6. Cover the skillet and let the dough rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot.

7. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

8. Stir in the garlic, rosemary, parsley, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

9. Brush the risen dough generously with the garlic butter mixture.

10. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese evenly on top.

11. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

12. Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for a crispier top.

13. Remove from oven and serve immediately, optionally with marinara sauce.
