Ingredients
4 cups green beans, drained (canned or blanched fresh)

0.5 cup milk
1 teaspoon soy sauce
0.25 teaspoon black pepper
1.5 cups French fried onions, divided
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 1.5-quart baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper until smooth.
3. Fold in green beans and 0.75 cup of French fried onions.
4. Transfer mixture to the baking dish and bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
5. Stir gently, then top with the remaining 0.75 cup of French fried onions.
6. Return to oven and bake an additional 5-10 minutes, until topping is golden.
Notes
Make sure to drain green beans thoroughly to avoid a watery base.
Use fresh or frozen green beans for more bite—just blanch them first.
To add more flavor, mix in 1/4 cup shredded cheddar or parmesan.
