It’s got that fancy steakhouse vibe with none of the fuss, making it perfect for a weeknight treat or an easy date night dinner. Ideal for quick dinner ideas, hearty food inspiration, or weeknight pasta recipes with a kick.

Ingredients

2 New York strip steaks

8 oz spaghetti

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons butter

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup cherry tomatoes

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

1. Pat the steak dry and season with salt, pepper, chili flakes, and soy sauce.

2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds.

4. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until blistered and juicy, about 4–5 minutes.

5. Pour in heavy cream, stir in honey, and simmer 2–3 minutes.

6. Add chili flakes, salt, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until sauce thickens.

7. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

8. Toss cooked spaghetti into the sauce, adding reserved water as needed to loosen.

9. Slice steak thinly and lay on top of pasta.

10. Garnish with parsley and more chili flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use well-marbled steak for the juiciest, most flavorful result.

Don’t skip resting the steak—it keeps all those juices locked in.

Add a touch of pasta water at the end to get the sauce silky and smooth.
