Description

This quick and easy One Pan Dumpling Dinner is the perfect solution for busy weeknights. It features golden pan-fried dumplings, crisp vegetables, and a savory soy-based sauce—all made in a single skillet for minimal cleanup. Ideal for an easy dinner, quick lunch, or satisfying meal prep idea, it’s packed with flavor and texture. Perfect for families or solo meals, this is one of those foolproof dinner ideas you’ll return to again and again.

Ingredients

12 frozen dumplings

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 cup broccoli florets

1 bell pepper sliced

2 cloves garlic minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon chili flakes or 1 fresh red chili sliced (optional)

2 green onions sliced

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

1/4 cup water

Instructions

1. Heat the oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the dumplings flat-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes until golden brown on the bottom.

2. Add broccoli and bell pepper around the dumplings. Pour in 1/4 cup water and cover with a lid. Let steam for about 5 minutes.

3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and chili flakes if using.

4. Remove the lid and pour the sauce evenly over the dumplings and vegetables. Simmer for 2 more minutes to absorb the flavors.

5. Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and chili slices if desired. Serve hot straight from the skillet.

Notes

Use a well-heated non-stick or cast iron skillet to get the best crispy-bottom dumplings.

Don’t overcrowd the pan—use a larger skillet or cook in batches if needed.

Add a splash of water again if the pan gets too dry while steaming.
