Description

These No Bake Caramel Crunch Butterfinger Truffles are a rich, creamy, crunchy dessert bite with a soft cheesecake-style center, crushed Butterfinger candy, a smooth chocolate coating, and a drizzle of caramel on top. They are an easy recipe for holiday dessert trays, party food ideas, no bake treats, quick dessert bites, and make-ahead sweet snacks when you want a simple homemade treat without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1 1/2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars

2 tablespoons caramel sauce

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

2 teaspoons coconut oil

1/4 cup extra crushed Butterfinger candy bars, for topping

2 tablespoons caramel sauce, for drizzle

Instructions

1. Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until completely smooth.

2. Add the powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, caramel sauce, and vanilla extract, then mix until a thick filling forms.

3. Fold in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars until evenly distributed.

4. Cover the bowl and chill the mixture for 30 to 45 minutes, or until firm enough to scoop.

5. Scoop and roll the filling into small balls, then place them on a parchment-lined tray.

6. Chill the rolled truffles for 20 to 30 minutes until very firm.

7. Melt the semisweet chocolate chips with the coconut oil until smooth and glossy.

8. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate and place it back on the lined tray.

9. Sprinkle the tops with extra crushed Butterfinger and drizzle with caramel sauce before the chocolate fully sets.

10. Refrigerate until the coating is firm, then serve chilled or store for later.

Notes

Do not skip the chilling steps, because warm or soft filling will make the truffles difficult to roll and much harder to coat neatly in chocolate.
