Ingredients

8 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 ounces lump crab meat

2 cups fresh spinach

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onion until softened. Add spinach and cook until just wilted. Remove from heat.

3. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella, and parmesan until smooth. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

4. Fold in the crab meat, spinach mixture, and half of the shrimp into the cheese base.

5. Transfer mixture into a baking dish. Top with remaining shrimp and extra mozzarella or parmesan.

6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

7. Serve hot with toasted bread, crackers, or veggie sticks. Add a squeeze of lemon if desired.

Notes

Make sure to pat shrimp dry before cooking to get a good sear.

Use room temperature cream cheese to ensure smooth mixing.

Thaw and squeeze frozen spinach well if using instead of fresh.
