1 pound ground beef

1 cup tomato sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 large biscuits)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with nonstick spray.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet; sauté for 3 minutes until soft.
4. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5–7 minutes until thickened.
5. Separate biscuit dough and press each piece into a muffin cup, forming a well.
6. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture into each biscuit cup.
7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top if using.
8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
9. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
