Description

There’s no easier way to bring color and crave-worthy crunch to a party snack table than with this Easy Red Velvet Puppy Chow. With bold red hues, a white chocolate drizzle, and a sweet vanilla aroma, this festive treat is perfect for holidays, movie nights, or just when you need a no-bake snack everyone will devour.

Ingredients

2 cups rice or corn square cereal

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 cup cream cheese baking chips

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon red gel food coloring

3/4 cup powdered sugar

1 cup mini pretzels

Instructions

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and cream cheese chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.

2. Stir in the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and red gel food coloring until evenly blended.

3. Place cereal in a large mixing bowl and pour the red velvet coating over it. Gently fold until all pieces are well coated.

4. Transfer coated cereal to a large zip-top bag, add powdered sugar, seal, and shake vigorously until fully coated.

5. Spread the cereal on a parchment-lined tray to cool and set.

6. Once cooled, mix in the mini pretzels. Serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Make sure to use gel food coloring for intense color without thinning the coating.

Let the mixture cool fully before storing to prevent clumping.

To make gluten-free, use certified gluten-free cereal and pretzels.
