Ingredients

2 cups diced apples

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons butter

0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch salt


Instructions

1. Peel, core, and finely dice the apples into small, uniform cubes until you have 2 cups.

2. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir until fully dissolved and bubbling (about 3–5 minutes).

3. Add the diced apples, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir well to coat the apples evenly.

4. Reduce heat and simmer for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and the jam thickens.

5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

6. Let cool slightly, then transfer to clean jars.

Notes

Let the jam cool before sealing jars to prevent condensation.
