Description
This Easy Cranberry Pecan Baked Brie is a warm, creamy appetizer that feels elegant but comes together with very little effort. With melty brie, tart cranberries, crunchy pecans, and a drizzle of honey, it is one of those easy recipe ideas that works for holiday parties, quick appetizers, festive food ideas, easy entertaining, and simple snack board additions.
Ingredients
1 wheel brie
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/2 cup pecan halves
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a small baking dish or oven-safe plate with parchment if needed.
2. Add the cranberries, honey, brown sugar, and orange zest to a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the cranberries begin to burst and the mixture turns glossy.
3. Stir in the pecans and chopped rosemary, then remove the topping from the heat.
4. Place the brie wheel in the prepared baking dish. Leave the rind on so the cheese keeps its shape while baking.
5. Bake the brie for 12 to 15 minutes, or until soft in the center but not collapsing.
6. Spoon the warm cranberry pecan topping over the baked brie.
7. Serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette while the cheese is still warm and creamy.
Notes
Do not overbake the brie, or it can split open and lose too much of its creamy center before it reaches the table.
