800g Yukon Gold potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Wash and scrub the potatoes, then slice them into ⅔-inch thick rounds.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Arrange potato slices in a single layer in the skillet.

5. Cook undisturbed for 5-6 minutes until golden brown on one side.
