Ingredients

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons chopped chives (for garnish)

Tortilla chips or fresh vegetables, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.

2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.

3. Fold in the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese until fully combined.

4. Spread the mixture into the baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

5. Sprinkle paprika evenly on top.

6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

7. Optionally broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crisp on top.

8. Garnish with chopped chives and serve hot with chips or veggies.

Notes

For best texture, use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-shredded.

Add diced jalapeños or pepper jack for a spicy twist.

Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best results.
