Ingredients

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix together shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

4. Cut biscuit dough if necessary and place pieces evenly over the filling.

5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cooked through.

6. Cover loosely with foil if tops brown too quickly while the filling cooks.

7. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley if using, and serve warm.

Notes

For a crispier biscuit topping, pre-bake biscuits halfway before adding on top of the filling.

Make this recipe vegetarian by swapping chicken with chickpeas and using cream of mushroom soup.

Add shredded cheese to the filling for an extra creamy and cheesy twist.
