Ingredients
2 pounds kielbasa sausage
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
1. Slice the kielbasa into ½-inch thick rounds.
2. In a bowl, stir together the brown sugar and barbecue sauce until fully blended.
3. Place the kielbasa pieces into a slow cooker.
4. Pour the sauce mixture over the kielbasa and stir well to coat all the slices evenly.
5. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours, stirring once halfway through.
6. Once the sauce has thickened and the bites are glazed, serve warm with toothpicks.
7. Optionally, garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
Notes
Keep the lid closed while cooking to avoid drying out the glaze.
For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
You can also bake these in the oven at 325°F for 1 hour if preferred.
