Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak tips

10 oz rigatoni pasta

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Pat the steak tips dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.

3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni until al dente, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens. If needed, add pasta water to thin.

7. Toss cooked rigatoni in the sauce to coat.

8. Plate the creamy pasta and top with steak tips.

9. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the steak tips — medium-rare to medium gives the juiciest texture.

Add reserved pasta water gradually to achieve your preferred sauce consistency.

Use fresh Parmesan for best melting and flavor — pre-shredded cheese may clump.
