Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings (drumettes and flats)

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

1. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

2. In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.

3. Add wings to a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat evenly.

4. Sprinkle the dry rub over the wings and mix until each wing is well coated.

5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

6. Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

7. Cook for 10 minutes, flip the wings, then cook for another 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Be sure to dry the wings thoroughly to maximize crispiness.

Use parchment liners if your air fryer basket tends to stick.

Adjust spice levels to your liking by reducing cayenne or adding hot sauce after cooking.
