Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

3 green onions, sliced

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce

0.5 cup water chestnuts, chopped

12 leaves romaine or butter lettuce


Instructions

1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

2. Add ground chicken to the skillet. Break it up with a spatula and cook until fully browned and cooked through.

3. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and chili garlic sauce. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

4. Toss in chopped water chestnuts and sliced green onions. Cook for another 2 minutes to warm through.

5. Spoon the filling into clean, dry lettuce leaves.

6. Garnish with extra green onions or chili sauce if desired.

7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
